1. Introduction

Welcome to Thrifter Club. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Thrifter Club website and mobile application (collectively, the "Service") operated by Thrifter Club Ltd ("we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

2. About Our Service

Thrifter Club is a search engine that aggregates listings from multiple online secondhand marketplaces and charity shops, including but not limited to eBay, Vinted, Thrift+, and Oxfam. We provide a platform to search and discover secondhand goods but do not sell items directly.

When you click through to purchase an item, you will be directed to the relevant third-party marketplace where the transaction will take place. We are not a party to any transaction between you and third-party sellers or marketplaces.

3. Eligibility

Our Service is available to users of all ages. However, if you are under 18 years of age, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use our Service and to create an account.

By using our Service, you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority, and capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. User Accounts

You may use our Service without creating an account for basic search functionality. However, certain features require account registration.

When you create an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your password and account
  • Promptly update your account information if it changes
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

All fees are stated in British Pounds (GBP) unless otherwise specified. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law.

Our Service provides links to third-party marketplaces where items are listed for sale. We do not control these marketplaces and are not responsible for:

  • The accuracy, quality, or legality of items listed
  • The conduct of buyers or sellers on third-party platforms
  • Transactions completed on third-party platforms
  • Delivery, returns, or refunds for items purchased through third-party marketplaces
  • The privacy practices or terms of service of third-party marketplaces

Any disputes arising from transactions on third-party marketplaces must be resolved directly with the relevant marketplace and/or seller.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Thrifter Club Ltd and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service without our express written permission. You may not reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from our Service.

The Thrifter Club name and logo are trademarks of Thrifter Club Ltd. You may not use these without our prior written consent.

9. Data Accuracy

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, we aggregate data from multiple third-party sources and cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of all listings displayed on our Service.

Product information, prices, availability, and other details are provided by third-party marketplaces. You should verify all information directly with the relevant marketplace before making a purchase.

10. Disclaimers

OUR SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • The results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable
  • Any errors in the Service will be corrected

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THRIFTER CLUB LTD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL DAMAGES EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE LIABILITY.

Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under UK law.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Thrifter Club Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with:

  • Your violation of any third-party rights

13. Changes to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Thrifter Club Ltd regarding the use of the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
